Here are some vegetables and fruits from different supermarkets with their country of origin:

 Vegetables:

corn salad: French, Germany
rocket: Italy
chicory: Germany, Holland
cucumber: Spain, Holland
zucchini: Spain
aubergine: Spain

potato: Egypt, Germany
vine tomato: Tunisi, Spain, Israel, Germany
stem cabbage: Italy

Fruits:

You can see that there aren't many fruits and vegetables we cultivate in Germany, so if the import wouldn't exist we would only have pieplants, radishs, salads, potatoes, tomatos and paprikas as vegetables and strawberrys, apples, carrots and pears as fruits. All the exotic fruits an vegetables like mangos or zucchinis wouldn't be there to eat. It would be small choice for the consumers.
